My Mini Lush Collection ! ♡

MY MINI LUSH COLLECTION

So since receiving the Lush 'Twelve Days of Christmas' I've slowly started to fall in love with all things Lush. My collection is only little but I guess you can only have one bath at a time so a little collection is enough for me. Today I thought I would share my collection with you and I will leave links to all the products below so you can check them out if you are interested. Enjoy! xo

Some of these goodies I received in the 'Twelve Days of Christmas' which was like a little advent calendar!

Shower Gels and Body Lotions

First off in my calender was the 'Yuzu and Cocoa' shower cream. If you are from Britain like me then you know the classic smell of a Terry's Chocolate Orange which is a classic at Christmas time. Well this shower gel literally smells like a chocolate orange in a bottle and I love it! I'm not sure if it would be for everyone but to me it smells delicious. The only thing that is off-putting is the colour. It kind of looks like mustard but the smell makes you forget about the colour rather quick so its fine.

Next in the calender was something I never had anticipated would quickly become MY FAVOURITE SCENT EVER! The Comforter Shower Cream is like a 'cuddle in a bottle' as described by lush. The best way I can describe it, is it smells like blackcurrant lollies, or Ribena, something along those lines. It's a gorgeous shimmery hot pink colour and it makes your skin feel gorgeous. But oh my it smells absolutely amazing, off to Lush I go to buy 50 more bottles of this! Again I'm not sure if this is a smell everyone would love because some of my friends hate it but to me it smells like the best thing ever ever ever (apart from anything Christmas scented;))

Next is something I received in a gift set for my birthday. It's the Olive Branch Shower Gel. It's a very fresh summery scent in my opinion and although it's only a small bottle it has lasted me a really long time! As you can tell I've used a lot, I wouldn't rush out to buy another bottle of this but it was lovely to use and if you are looking for a new/different scent to try from Lush, I would recommend this one!

Another product I received in The 12 Days of Christmas was the 'Celebrate' Body Lotion. It's a really fresh 'orangey' scent and it's very uplifting. Personally I wouldn't describe it as a 'festive' scent as on the tub but it still is a lovely scent. I use it after shaving my legs and it leaves your skin feeling very moisturised. The size that came in the advent calendar was 45g and it's lasting me longer than I thought but I will definitely need to go out and purchase a larger tub.

(As it was from the Christmas Range it was really difficult to find, you can only get it online now, and I could only find it on the US store and only in one size, sorry!x)

Bubble Bars

Another one of my favourite Lush products is The Comforter Bubble Bar. It's the same scent as The Comforter Shower Gel however it's not quite as strong as the shower gel. It still smells absolutely gorgeous. After falling in love with the shower gel, when I found out there was a bubble bar in the same scent I was determined I had to have it. The colours on it are stunning, the pink is a similar colour the pink in the shower gel. I absolutely love the scent and cannot wait to use it in the bath! (once Australia decides to cool down a bit and I can have a bath without melting! Not complaining though, I love the heat ;))

Next in The 12 Days of Christmas was The Five Golden Rings Bubble Bar. These smell gorgeous! They have a very subtle vanilla sent that you could get away with using all year round. I haven't yet used any of these but I presume you use one ring at a time. I can't wait to see the bath water as these bubble bars are smothered in glitter. I love the idea behind this, and the fact you don't have to use it all at once but instead break a ring off each time you have a bath.

As these were from the Christmas range I couldn't find the link to them online anywhere :( I would highly recommend them though, so definitely keep your eye out for them next year!

Another Bubble Bar in the 12 Days of Christmas was Holly Golightly. Mine doesn't look very picturesque as it's been sitting squashed in packaging for a while but when you buy it fresh it looks stunning! The scent isn't something I'm overly keen on however a lot of my friends/family love it so I'm sure it's just a scent that isn't for everyone - either that or I just have a really weird sense of smell. It's a very strong scent that I can't quite describe, it's one of those ones you have to smell in real life to really get an idea of the scent. It's a massive bubble bar too so I'm sure you would get loads of uses out of it!

Bath Bombs

Another product included in the 12 Days of Christmas was the Avobath Bath Bomb. This smells AMAZING. It's so refreshing and I cannot wait to use it. I feel like it would be best to use this in the morning to lift your mood and make you feel more awake. It's a good size too so it would really fill your bath and I would imagine the scent would come through really strong.

Next in the 12 Days of Christmas was Butter Bear bath bomb. Apart from being extremely cute, this also smells lovely. The best way I can describe it is that smell when you're baking a vanilla or chocolate cake in the oven and you walk in the kitchen and catch the smell. It's a very subtle cocoa smell that I feel like everyone would like. It contains cocoa butter so it's supposed to leave your skin feeling amazing!

Next in the 12 Days of Christmas (have I said 12 Days of Christmas enough yet?) was the Dashing Santa Bath Bomb. This one smells gorgeous. It's very festive with an orangey hint to the scent. I've seen pictures of this on the internet and when it fizzes in the bath the colours look so amazing. It's also got a little bit of glitter in it (a lil bit of glitter in everything never is a bad thing, right? ;))

(Once again, as this was from the Christmas Range it's difficult to find online, as far as I could see, it's only available in the US store, sorry !x)

Soaps

The last thing in my calendar was the Snowcake Soap. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent of this soap but I love the look of it. It's described to be a 'sweet marzipan' scent but I don't really like it all that much. It's a gorgeous shimmery glittery gold colour which I think would look and feel gorgeous on your skin

Other

There are a few other items in my lush collection which I forgot to take pictures of oops! :(

I have the bubblegum lip scrub which smells SO GOOD - good enough to eat, best thing is you can actually eat it! Just scrub your lips with it and lick the excess. It's great to use before applying any lip product to smooth your lips.

I also have the Sea Spray. It smells gorgeous and it leaves your hair looking like it does when you come out the ocean - it's all wavy and beachy looking.

Another product in my collection is the Magic Of Christmas Bubble Bar Wand. I wish I pictured this before I used some of it because it is absolutely gorgeous! It's on a cinnamon stick and its covered in glitter and has jingle bells ( how much more christmassy can you get ;)). It smells AMAZING. When I think of Christmassy scents this is what I think of. It's spicy, cinnamony and orangey all rolled into one and I loved it. It turns the bath a gorgeous orange colour too!

TAUPE-LESS BEACH - SWATCHES AND REVIEW

O・P・I  TAUPE-LESS BEACH  BRAZIL COLLECTION 2014  REVIEW AND SWATCHES   Hi lovelies ! ♡ For my first blog post I have decided to do a review and a few swatches of my current favourite nail polish - OPI Taupe-less beach.  This colour is part of the Brazil 2014 collection which consists of brights, neutrals and 4 limited edition "Liquid Sand" textured polishes. All of the pictures were taken in natural sunlight and I have applied a base coat, 2 coats of the polish and a top coat. Taupe-less beach is light grey/taupe in colour and has a creme finish. This polish is almost completely opaque with only one coat so 2 coats isn't really necessary. I really love the shine on this polish and although it's not the brightest colour, the sun really brings it to life. OPI really knows how to create the perfect brush size which helped make the application of this polish very easy. With a top coat, the polish lasted a good amount of time and was fairly c...
